VANDYKE
A centre or point draft used in the drawing-in of the warp threads through the healds. ————————
VANDYKE
A pointed scallop used as a decorative border to garments and in designs. It owes its name to Vandyke, the painter, who used it in his portraits as in that of Charles I.
